Why GB Ocean

We utilize new technology in new ways to prove and promote that the greener path is the intelligent, more cost-efficient, and sustainable path.

Story

Experiences and observations made us question why the oil spill emergency response plans often are based on a reactive operational model. This ignited our ingenuity to design and produce smarter and more efficient products that can disrupt the reactive oil spill emergency response operational model and change it to a greener and more sustainable proactive model.

Vision

Our vision is to be responsible by part-taking in the global environmental transformation by disrupting the old and to be in front of the new within oil spill emergency response equipment.

Technology

With our patented magnetic connection points implemented in our products, we enable the industry to change its emergency preparedness approach from a passive reactive model to a proactive model that greatly reduces the risks of ocean pollution and spreading of spills.

What we produce

We produce the possibility for change. A change in how the industry thinks, acts, and responds regarding marine emergency preparedness

GBO Magnetic Connection Point (MCP)

The MCP-EasyDuty is designed for use at ports, offshore logistic bases, oil & gas terminals, and ship-to-ship bunkering. It contains of 4 rolling magnets connected to an acid-proof steel frame. This allows the barriers to follow the movements of the vessel, such as changes in draft depth, waves, current and high and low tide, all while connected to the vessel and quay.

The MCP-HeavyDuty is designed for use in rougher environments such as coastal and offshore operations. It contains of 4 stationary magnets and 4 casings in which the magnets inserts and connects to. When coupled the breaking strength is above 1 ton.
